Moon Sweepers Mobile, PS5 and Price: Where You Can Play
One official version exists, on Steam for Windows. Everything else you have seen is a request, a workaround or a fan page.
VerdictBuy it only if you play on a Windows PC or a Steam Deck. Phone, console and Mac players have nothing official to buy, and no port is announced; Update 1.1 in December is the next planned date.
There is no Moon Sweepers mobile version, and no console one either. The game DragDrop Games released on October 23, 2026 is a Windows game sold on Steam for $8.99. As of November 2, its Steam page has no Mac or Linux build, and none of the developer's five Steam posts mentions PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, Android or Roblox. If you were hoping to play on your phone or your PS5 with friends, you can't yet. The closest thing to portable is a Steam Deck, which Valve rates Playable.

Where Moon Sweepers runs, platform by platform
Status on November 2, 2026, from Steam's store data, Valve's Steam Deck report and the game's own forum.
| Platform | Status | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Windows PC (Steam) | Out since October 23, $8.99 | The only official version |
| Steam Deck | Valve rating: Playable | Runs; some on-screen text is hard to read |
| Mac | Not supported (Steam lists Windows only) | Some players run it through compatibility tools, unofficially |
| Linux desktop | No native build | Steam lists Windows only |
| PS5, Xbox, Switch | Not announced | Players are asking; no developer answer yet |
| Game Pass | Not announced | Requested in the forum, nothing more |
| iOS and Android | Not announced | An app or IPA using the name is not from DragDrop |
| Roblox | Not a Roblox game | The name comes up only in comparisons |
| Web browser | No official browser version | "Play online" pages are fan sites |
Online co-op holds up to 16 players per lobby, and you can play alone. Everyone in that lobby has to be on Windows or a Steam Deck, because there is no other platform to cross-play with.

Phone, IPA and "play online": what those results really are
A search for Moon Sweepers turns up pages that look like the game. One of them, moonsweepers.app, runs a little cleaning game in the browser. Read the small print under it: "Original fan-made training game. Not the official Steam game or an official demo." Another, moonsweepersgames.com, carries the title "Moon Sweepers - Play Online Without Download", yet its own FAQ says: "No. Moon Sweepers is a paid game on Steam."
An IPA is an iPhone app package. DragDrop Games has not released an iOS version, so a file passed around as the Moon Sweepers IPA did not come from the developer. We would not sideload it.
Roblox is a similar mix-up. In one Steam thread, a player called the game "the same as any other mow the grass mode in games like roblox or fortnite". Another answered that "its a $10 game and its actual quite polished". Both are opinions about the genre. Neither points to a Roblox version, because there isn't one.
PS5, Xbox and Switch: requested, not announced
The forum thread "PS5 release?" started on October 23 with "Will you have a PS5 or Xbox release?" On October 25 a reply added: "please consider a console release and/or game pass release". On October 28 another player wrote: "We need releases for ps5 and XBox". By November 2 the thread had four replies and none from the developer.
The developer's own posts explain why patience is the realistic answer. On October 24, DragDrop wrote: "We're a small development team of just two people". It listed the launch problems it was fixing first: "crashes, performance issues, multiplayer bugs, lack of automation and progression balancing". A player in the console thread did the same math: "I don't see this being something that happens for maybe a year or so." That is a guess, not a plan, but nothing official contradicts it.
So don't buy the Steam version expecting a console copy or shared progress later. No cross-progression has been promised. For other games to play with friends while you wait, see our best co-op games roundup.
Steam Deck and Mac: the two workarounds

Valve rates Moon Sweepers Playable on Steam Deck. Valve's definition of Playable is that a game "may require some manual tweaking by the user to play". The only problem its report lists is that interface text is not legible at Deck size. Default controller support and default performance both pass. For comparison, Moonlighter 2 carries the full Verified badge, which Valve describes as working "great on Steam Deck, right out of the box".
Player reports agree. On launch day, a player named Bracer50 wrote: "I got this for steam deck and it plays just fine." They saw some graphical glitches and added: "Moving the graphics down to medium seemed to help alittle." Expect small text, drop the settings a step, and you should be fine.
Mac is different. Steam marks the game Windows only, and some Mac owners are stuck watching. One wrote on October 27: "all my friends playing but I cant on my mac". Others run it unofficially. One player plays "on crossover on a M2 Macbook Pro", another says "Works on macOS with Highball just fine", and a third reports "Performance is great on M4". None of this is supported, and the developer has made no promise to keep it working after a patch.
How much is Moon Sweepers?
$8.99 in the US, with no discount running on November 2. The launch discount of 15% ($7.64) ran until October 30, according to a fan site that tracked it, and it is gone now. Here are the regional prices Steam showed us the same day:
| Store region | Price on Nov 2, 2026 |
|---|---|
| United States | $8.99 |
| United Kingdom | £7.99 |
| Germany (euro) | 8,99€ |
| Brazil | R$ 33,99 |
| India | ₹ 469 |
| Turkey (USD pricing) | $5.79 USD |
There is no free version and no demo on the store page. Two bundles pair it with other games: the To The Moon bundle with Totally Safe Moon Project, and Brick by Brick x Moon Sweepers. Eneba's Global Steam key was sold out when we checked, though its search still lists the game, so check the price there before you assume Steam is the cheapest.
Your money buys solo play or online co-op with up to 16 people, full controller support and Steam Cloud saves. You start with a toothbrush, because "the budget only covered a toothbrush", and work up to vehicles and automated bases. The minimum PC is modest: a GTX 1650 or RX 570, 8 GB of RAM and 2 GB of storage.
Plenty of people decided it was worth it. DragDrop counted "600,000 players and an incredible peak of 70,000 concurrent players" one week after launch. SteamDB then logged a new peak of 83,138 on November 1, and 52,980 people were playing when we checked at 02:07 UTC on November 2. On the store page, 78% of the 2,542 English-language reviews are positive.
What comes next: three patches and Update 1.1 in December
Screenshot: Moon Sweepers Steam store page (DragDrop Games)
The two-person team has shipped three patches in five days, all on PC:
| Patch | Date (UTC) | What changed for players |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0.3 | Oct 24 | Upgrades shared across the crew, host can kick or ban, damaged saves repaired on load, "up to about 20% higher frame rates in our tests" |
| 1.0.4 | Oct 25 | $350 night vision goggles (in-game money), map waypoints and teleport, J.O.O.N.A.S. robots clean 2x faster, automatic save backups |
| 1.0.5 | Oct 28 | Build on dusty ground, move mode, full refund when you remove a piece, a freeze fix after loading a world |
The bigger date is December. "Moon Sweepers 1.1 is planned for December 2026!", the developer wrote on October 30, calling it "our first major content update". The list covers new production machines, new materials and products, more tools, better automation and buildings, expanded progression and more performance work. The same post warns: "Everything mentioned above is still in development and may change before release." It also teases what happens after the whole Moon is clean: "cleaning the Moon might only be the beginning of your career."
None of it mentions new platforms. Read the roadmap as more game on PC, not as a door to consoles or phones.
Mistakes to avoid before you buy
The costly one is buying for the wrong device. A Steam key does nothing on a PS5, an iPhone or a Mac without workarounds, and nobody has promised a port.
The second is trusting the first "play online" result. Those pages are fan projects, and one of them says so in its own small print. The real game installs from Steam.
The third is waiting for a deeper discount on the strength of December. Update 1.1 is planned, not dated, and the developer has said its contents may change. If a group of friends on Windows wants to play now, $8.99 is the price.
If you want more co-op ideas for the same PC group, our Next Fest co-op demo picks cover five games from October's fest.
How we checked this
On November 2, 2026, between 02:00 and 02:10 UTC, we read Moon Sweepers' Steam store page and its JSON, including prices for six store regions, Valve's Steam Deck compatibility report, the live player count and all five developer posts on the game's Steam news feed. We read six forum threads one at a time, and searched the forum for "android" and "phone" (no results). Nobody at GameBrief has played Moon Sweepers, so this guide covers where and how to buy it, not how it plays.
