Mycopunk Achievements Guide: All 48 and the Hidden Ones

Most of the list comes with normal play. The trophies that separate you are the endgame regions, a basement ten floors down and an arcade cabinet.

VerdictPlay normally to threat 6 and the list mostly fills itself. Plan for the co-op four, X11-B, Incursion floor 10 and Starrunner; if Cranius or Bunker Buster never popped, update to 2.0.1 and do them again.

Need a Mycopunk achievements guide before you start hunting? Good news first: there are 48 on Steam, eight are hidden, and most unlock on their own if you play the regions and push up the threat levels. The ones that take planning are the four that need other players, the 1.0 endgame (X11-B and threat 7), floor 10 of Incursion and a high score on the HUB arcade cabinet. Two were broken at launch: if Cranius or Bunker Buster never popped for you, patch 2.0.1 fixed them on October 21.

About the game

Mycopunk

Pigeons at Play · Devolver Digital

Steam achievements are not the same thing as Fulfillments. Pigeons at Play added Fulfillments in 1.0 as "an in-game achievement system for tracking your mastery," and many of them reward cosmetics such as hats. They don't count toward the 48 below. If you're still deciding whether the game is worth the time, our Is Mycopunk worth it? piece covers the 1.0 release and the launch sale.

Don't read that last column as a difficulty ranking. The Ice Floes and the Swamp are ordinary regions that have been in the game since earlier updates, yet fewer than one player in twenty has their achievements so far. Expect those numbers to move fastest.

The co-op four: get them in one session

Best Teammate, Yeehawwwww!, Full Crew and BANG can't be done alone. Best Teammate wants you to kill a crewmate, Yeehawwwww! wants the Wrangler to lasso another player, BANG is the hidden one where you "make a basket with another player's broken body," and Full Crew needs a mission finished "with four different employees in your crew."

Full Crew is the awkward one, because it needs a full lobby with no doubled-up employees. Our call: ask three friends for one evening and clear all four in the first mission. Public lobbies are hit and miss right now; one solo player complained that "when I tried joining public lobbies, they just kicked me out of the group." For the general shape of co-op hunting in this genre, our Risk of Rain 2 co-op guide covers setting up a squad in a game with the same four-player shape.

The endgame five

X11-B (complete a mission on X11-B) and Predicament (threat 7) are the real endgame. The studio describes X11-B as "a new region on New Atlas' moonlet" whose "difficult missions will test your best loadouts," and says it was built to challenge players who have been around since Early Access. Don't go there on a fresh account. Threat 7 has been in the game since the 1.2 update, when Saxon's own patch notes joked that its health insurance doesn't cover accidents on threat 7 assignments.

The 10th Floor asks you to reach floor 10 in Incursion. Incursion sends you into underground facilities to "fight through as many floors as you can before time runs out," and the deeper you go the more Antimass Substrate you earn. Bring a loadout that clears rooms quickly; the clock is the enemy here, not one boss.

Overtime means completing the Overtime Assignment, a special mission on the mission terminal that rotates weekly. If this week's assignment doesn't suit your loadout, wait for the next one.

Starrunner is a score of 10,000 in Starrunner, the little arcade game in the HUB. The developers built it over a weekend; it's single-player but networked, so friends can watch you play and take over. It's one of the rarest on the list, and the one you can practise between missions.

The two that were bugged at launch

The 1.0 notes listed both as known issues: "The 'Cranius' achievement doesn't unlock," and "The Bunker Buster achievement only unlocks after opening 15 bunkers," when it was meant to unlock after one. Patch 2.0.1 on October 21 fixed both, along with two Fulfillments (relay towers and Saxito bags) that weren't progressing.

  • Bunker Buster: open one locked bunker. Locked bunkers are abandoned Saxon bunkers that can appear in uncharted levels, and opening one counts as a side objective completion. For two days it took fifteen, which goes a long way to explaining why so few players have it yet.
  • Cranius: defeat Cranius, the hidden boss achievement. If you beat him before October 21 and nothing happened, beat him again on the patched build.

The hidden eight, explained

Steam hides eight achievement descriptions until you unlock them. Here's what each one asks:

  • Employee of the Month: die 31 times. Comes naturally.
  • Oops: knock over a pipe in the HUB. Walk around the HUB and bump things.
  • Calm Down: say hi to Roachard a lot. The visible Hi achievement is saying hi once; keep going.
  • Cranius: defeat Cranius (see above).
  • BANG: the co-op basket (see above).
  • Ground Zero: complete Ground Zero. The developers made this mission reset weekly back in August 2025, with rewards for the first clear each week.
  • The Broken Frame: find the Broken Frame. Broken Frame upgrades have their own rules in the patch notes (they can't be scrapped), but the studio hasn't said where the frame is, and we won't guess.
  • The Holder of All Things: discover every upgrade. At 0.1% it's the long grind. A Steam reviewer with 44 hours recommends the roguelike mode, calling it "great for target farming and trying out stuff as well as some hidden content." We'd use Ouroboros runs for this one too.

Devolver's Freeze & Fester trailer shows the Swamp you need for Prospector: at 0:09 the "New Swamp Region" card sits over yellow moss and giant brown mushrooms, and from 0:15 the "New Cryo-Upgrades" card leads into ice shards bursting off an enemy at 0:18. That update also added four cryo upgrades, which you find at ice mounds in the Swamp and Ice Floes.

Region and threat achievements: the route we'd take

Each region achievement is just "complete a mission" there: the Gravity Farms, the Desert, Titan City, the Moldy Tundra, the Ice Floes, the Swamp and finally X11-B. The threat ladder runs Safe (1) through Onslaught (6), then Predicament (7). Climb threat and regions together; a threat 4 mission in a region you haven't finished counts for both.

Expedition Alpha (rescue the Mycologist) is the 1.0 story beat that unlocks the fifth employee. Do it early: she's a new kit to play, and Full Crew gets easier with five employees to pick from.

Mistakes that cost people achievements

  • Chasing Fulfillments for Steam progress. They're a separate system. Good for hats, irrelevant to the 48.
  • Assuming Bunker Buster is a fifteen-bunker grind. It was a bug. One bunker on 2.0.1.
  • Leaving co-op for last. Full Crew needs four different employees in one crew. Book the session while your friends still have the game installed.
  • Skipping the HUB. Hi, Calm Down, Oops and Starrunner all live there. A few minutes of poking around before your first drop knocks out the easy ones.
  • Space Optimization by accident. Fitting nine upgrades on one grid takes planning; if you're new to the grid system, the upgrade grid shown in our worth-it piece is a quick primer.

Our take

Mycopunk's list is friendly. Nearly everything follows from playing the game the way it wants to be played, in a squad, pushing threat. The honest blockers are a co-op night, the X11-B grind and an arcade high score. We'd do the HUB ones on day one, book the co-op session in week one, and leave The Holder of All Things for whenever the next content update lands.

More achievement lists from this season: Pratfall, Gamble With Your Friends, Mortal Shell II, Graveyard Keeper 2, Lost Castle 2, Moonlighter 2 and Valheim's Deep North.

How we checked this

On October 22, 2026, we read the full Steam achievement list and global unlock rates, the 1.0 and patch 2.0.1 notes, and older Mycopunk update notes for Incursion, Threat 7, Ground Zero, locked bunkers and Starrunner, and stepped through Devolver's Freeze & Fester trailer for the timestamps above. We haven't unlocked these ourselves.
