Every Reclaimer shares the same base stats, so the class is entirely its signature, and the Falconer's signature is the most team-dependent in the game. Its Lightning Drone has three jobs: electrocute, enable, and revive. That last one is why you bring it.
In co-op, the revive changes run outcomes in a way nothing else in the Enhancement pool can match. A downed squadmate who would have ended the run instead stands back up. At higher floors, where one death often starts a cascade that wipes the team, the ability to stop that cascade is worth more than any single class's damage. The Falconer is the answer to the question every deep run eventually asks: what happens when someone goes down?
The flip side is blunt. Solo, the revive does nothing, so the Falconer is the weakest of the five on your own. This is the biggest solo-versus-co-op gap in the roster, and it is the first thing to understand about the class: it is built for a squad, full stop.
The drone is the whole kit. Sent to a target location, the Shock Drone scans and searches for enemies, and when it finds one it shoots and electrocutes, consuming one charge. You have five charges with a 10-second replenishment per charge, and each charge delivers three electrocution bursts of 25 to 35 damage.
The offensive ceiling comes from arcing. On its own, the electrocution is useful but not exceptional against dedicated damage classes. With the arc Enhancement, which adds shared arc damage to electrocuted targets hit by additional bursts, one charge hitting six clustered enemies through arcing is a completely different situation from one charge on a single target. Dense wave rooms are where the Falconer's output actually spikes, so position the drone where enemies group, not where a single tough target stands.
The third job is the revive: send the drone to a downed ally to bring them back. Managing the drone is therefore a constant triage between damage and rescue, which is the core skill of the class.

The Falconer's other tool is the Thunder Rod, which places a defensive zone for 15 seconds that gives you and your allies +100% electric damage. This is a pure team enabler, and it is what makes the Falconer more than a revive bot.
Drop the Thunder Rod where the squad is holding and everyone's electric output doubles for the duration. It compounds with your own Lightning Drone, and with any squadmate running electric or elemental damage, turning a defended position into a high-output kill zone. The best use is proactive: place it before a known wave or at a chokepoint you intend to hold, not reactively after the fight has already scattered.
Think of the Thunder Rod and the drone as one system. The Rod doubles electric damage; the drone is electric damage; squadmates building elemental benefit from both. A Falconer who places the Rod well turns the whole team's damage profile electric for free.

Prioritize enhancements that add charges or projectiles, because they directly multiply drone DPS. Stack Gun Damage, Elemental Damage, and Crits for your personal output, and take charge replenishment to ease the economy so both the offensive and revive functions are available more often. Movement Speed is always useful, since repositioning to place the drone and the Thunder Rod well is part of playing the class.
For electric uptime between drone charges, perks like Arc Lunge give you electric access while the Shock Drone is on cooldown, and if you are lucky enough to find a weapon upgrade that converts some of its damage to electric, your uptime climbs dramatically. The goal is to never have a dead window: drone on cooldown should not mean your electric synergy switches off.

The math is clean. The Spotter marks targets with +100% crit chance, and the Falconer's Lightning Drone delivers consistent, repeated hits that trigger those crits on every burst. Most classes hit a marked target a few times; the drone hits it reliably and continuously, so it converts the Spotter's crit window into guaranteed critical damage more efficiently than almost any other class can. The pairing favors over nearly any other two-class combination.
If your group is building around a damage core, put a Falconer and a Spotter together and let the drone farm the crit marks. Add the Thunder Rod's +100% electric on top and you have a stacked-multiplier kill zone that few enemy waves survive.

The Falconer solo is a fun electric build, not a strong one. If you have the choice, save it for the group runs where its anchor role makes it the best class on the team.
