About the game

ARC Raiders

The ARC Raiders new quests arrived with Frozen Trail 2.0 on October 8, 2026, and they come from five quest givers. Most of them send you up to Pendola Pass. A few go back to the older maps.

This page lists every new quest the community wiki has documented so far, with the giver, the objectives, the rewards and the XP, plus the order that unlocks them.

TL;DR: Embark says 2.0 added 22 quests. The wiki documents 15 so far: six from Celeste, Shani's two Emperor quests, two from Apollo, four Nomad jobs and one from Lance. Most unlock after Shani's Off The Radar. Quests now give XP, up to 10,000 each.

How many new quests are in ARC Raiders Frozen Trail? (quick answer)

Embark's patch notes are short on detail: "Quest System improvements, 22 new quests added." The ARC Raiders Wiki quest list is more specific, and more modest. "The Frozen Trail update introduced 15 quests to the main questline," it says, in a chain it now puts at 115 quests.

The gap is shrinking but still there. When we first checked on October 12 the wiki had 10; by October 14 it had added Wires Crossed, Ruins And Reverberations, Divided, Bait, Fetch, Blast and A Path Not Yours. Boarding The Frigate also points to a Disrupting The Frigate quest with no page yet. Even counting that one, six of Embark's 22 have not been written up anywhere we could find, so expect this list to grow.

This table follows the wiki's Frozen Trail tab and each quest page, checked on October 14, 2026. "Not listed" means the quest page gives no XP figure.

One caution: the wiki gives Boarding The Frigate exactly the same rewards as Exploring Pendola Pass. That may be correct, or it may be a copy error on a page written in the first days of the update. Check the reward panel in game before you plan around it.

Celeste's Pendola Pass quests

Exploring Pendola Pass is the entry point. The objectives are to destroy 20 ARC, search the control room at the Cielo Sereno Observatory for power, use 1 Wire to patch into the antenna on top of the tallest tower in the Railyard, and search 3 containers inside the Commissary Supermarket. The quest hands you 3 Ziplines to help with the climbs. It leads on to Wires Crossed and to Shani's Tracks Of The Beast.

Wires Crossed takes you back to the older maps with three ARC parts in your bag: attach a Snitch Scanner to the antenna at Pilgrim's Peak on Blue Gate, a Surveyor Vault to the antenna on top of the Launch Towers on Spaceport, and a Sentinel Firing Core to the antenna on the roof of the Grandioso Apartments in Buried City. It pays 8,000 XP and a Renegade I.

Ruins And Reverberations follows it and brings you back to the Observatory in one round: connect a Spotter Relay to the antenna on the roof, weld the wires in the crawlspace under the control room to redirect power, then activate the relay again. It lends you a Grappling Hook for the climb and pays a Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper).

Sizing Things Up is the Emperor quest. You photograph the Emperor's leg by the bridge outside Old Town, analyze the exposed area on top of the leg near Railroad Junction, then reach the base of the Emperor and search the Buried Harvester Payload. You finish by delivering an ARC Conductive Coupler to Celeste. There is an optional step to break open a crashed probe near Almatera Station. The quest grants a Basic Camera, so you do not need to bring one for the photo.

At launch Embark listed one known issue here, a completion cinematic that did not play. Update 2.1.0 on October 13 fixed it: "Cinematics for 'Sizing Things Up' correctly play after quest completion." Our camera guide covers the other quests that now need photos.

Boarding The Frigate asks you to find a way on top of the Frigate, then damage a Hydra, a Vaporizer and a Rocketeer. It grants a Grappling Hook, a Seeker Grenade, a Barricade Kit and 2 Lure Grenades. Disrupting The Frigate comes next, but it has no wiki page yet.

Shani's Emperor quests

Tracks Of The Beast sends you to the Northern Tracks in one round. Find the destroyed station at the end of the tracks, then ping a Bully and a Skulker. Two optional steps, destroying 3 Skulkers and delivering a Skulker Targeter to Shani, add a bonus Skulker Targeter and a Wolfpack on top of the 3 Showstoppers and Grappling Hook. It also opens Apollo's Bait, Fetch, Blast. Our Grappling Hook guide explains what that gadget does.

Belly Of The Beast opens once Sizing Things Up and Tracks Of The Beast are both done. You enter the Emperor, find where its power comes from, find out what happens to the Harvester Payloads that go in and where they are stored, search 5 containers inside, and take one unique piece of Emperor loot. Acquiring an Emperor Gateway Conduit is optional. The quest lends you a Grappling Hook and pays 10,000 XP, and the reward that matters is the Pendola Pass Observatory Key.

The Nomad quests

Embark's notes say the Nomadic Envoys sent Ermal back on the trail and "brought in Cassio, who will continue to trade for valuables, but also ask friendly Raiders for help with certain quests." The wiki calls Clean Hands the first quest a Raider can complete for the Nomads.

Clean Hands is a one-round job. Find the Nomad Camp under the Railyard, search the polluted item there, carry the Equatorial Sundial to the top of the Church in Old Town, then deliver it to the Envoy. Taking Stock comes next and leaves Pendola Pass entirely: photograph the Atrium sculpture on Stella Montis and a Baron Husk on Spaceport, ping either a Bombardier on Dam Battlegrounds or a Bastion on Buried City, then hand in 3 Industrial Batteries. Our Stella Montis guide helps with the Atrium.

A Path Not Yours follows Taking Stock on Blue Gate, in one round. Find the start of the Nomad trail under the Highway Collapse, follow the trail markers to the hideout, find Bilguun's gift in the buried cache underneath, then deliver the Broken Compass. Looting the secret stash in the hideout is optional. The Envoy lends you 2 Ziplines.

Divided breaks the pattern: the wiki lists Celeste's Ruins And Reverberations as its prerequisite, not a Nomad quest. You search for four Nomad recordings on Pendola Pass, at the Loading Platforms, the Weather Station, the Dispatch Tower and Almatera Station. Divided and A Path Not Yours pay 2,500 XP each, the lowest figure the wiki lists for this update.

Apollo's quests: To The Skies and Bait, Fetch, Blast

To The Skies is the odd one out. You scan any Crashed ARC Probe and any ARC Courier, then find a Gondola Prototype in one of four spots: near the Red Lakes, in the Farmlands, in the East Plains, or at the top of the Dried Riverbed. You install ARC Performance Steel, a Pop Trigger, ARC Synthetic Resin and ARC Thermo Lining, then activate it. The reward returns 3 each of the Steel, Thermo Lining and Resin. The wiki adds a warning: once you have found one prototype, putting the parts into a different one uses them up without progressing the quest.

This is also the quest players complain about most. In a bug thread, one player wrote: "You can only do it on the location you started on but it still is not working for me." Another replied: "Same thing. Quest is bugged for sure." Neither Embark's known issues list nor the 2.1.0 fixes mention it, so finish the install at the first prototype you find, in the same round.

Bait, Fetch, Blast opens after Tracks Of The Beast. Destroy a Bully, or just its head, or 4 of its legs (any one of the three counts), then deliver a Bully Fragmenter to Apollo. He lends you 3 Showstoppers, 2 Barricade Kits, a Medium Shield and a Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor) for the fight, and pays a Bully Fragmenter back plus a Wolfpack and 10,000 XP.

The Riven Tides pair

Two Celeste story quests sit on Riven Tides and follow Shoring Up Defenses. Celeste's Childhood Drawings is given by Lance: find young Celeste's room in Hotel Panorama Azzurro, search it, then find one drawing on the roof of the third Customs House and another at the Quay. Celeste's Teenage Rebellion has you transmit from the lookout tower on Mulatierra Hill, find a radio transmitter at the old Raider Camp, find the large antenna overlooking the harbor, weld a broken generator and start the transmitter. It pays a Heavy Shield and Looting Mk. 2.

Step-by-Step: unlocking the new quests in order

This order follows the prerequisites on each wiki page. We have not played through the chain ourselves.

1. Finish Clearer Skies and Trash Into Treasure: both are early Shani quests, and Off The Radar needs both.

2. Complete Off The Radar: visit a Field Depot and repair the antenna on its roof in one round. Per the wiki, this unlocks Exploring Pendola Pass, Sizing Things Up, Boarding The Frigate, To The Skies and Clean Hands.

3. Start with Exploring Pendola Pass: it opens Tracks Of The Beast and Wires Crossed, and its Ziplines help on the new map.

4. Run Sizing Things Up and Tracks Of The Beast, then Belly Of The Beast: Belly needs both. Bring space for the ARC Conductive Coupler and keep the Observatory Key you get at the end.

5. Do Clean Hands, then Taking Stock, then A Path Not Yours: Taking Stock needs Industrial Batteries, so start saving them early.

6. Follow Wires Crossed with Ruins And Reverberations, then Divided: carry the Snitch Scanner, Surveyor Vault and Sentinel Firing Core before you start, and a Spotter Relay for the second one.

7. Fit in To The Skies, Bait, Fetch, Blast and Boarding The Frigate: one needs four ARC parts, one a Bully Fragmenter, the other damage on three ARC types aboard the Frigate.

8. Finish the Riven Tides pair: once Shoring Up Defenses is done, Lance and Celeste take over.

What else changed for quests in 2.0

Three system changes matter as much as the new list. First, "Completing quests and quest objectives now grants XP," and the XP now shows in the quest description. Second, Embark "Updated quest list sorting, making progression easier to follow." Third, five older quests (The League, Reduced to Rubble, Life of a Pharmacist, Battening Down and Groundbreaking) now need real photos from the new camera.

One older quest was broken on the new map at launch: Embark said "Picking up the Pieces" could not be completed on Pendola Pass. The 2.1.0 notes on October 13 fixed the loot-icon areas there not counting toward its objective.

What players are saying

The XP change got the warmest reaction. In the "Quest XP?? FINALLY!" thread, one player wrote simply: "Now i want do them." The top reply was less happy about the timing: "Thank you Embark for doing this change after I didn't chose to reset my quests." These are a few threads, not a survey.

Frozen Trail Arrives

Official trailer from the ARC Raiders channel.

Our take

This is a research page, not a playthrough. The objectives and rewards come from the community wiki, the counts and known issues from Embark, and the bug reports from players.

The useful part right now is the order. Off The Radar is the gate, Exploring Pendola Pass opens the most follow-ups, and Sizing Things Up has the best listed item reward. The weak part is the count: 15 documented quests against Embark's 22 means this list is not complete yet. If you are new to the map, the Pendola Pass guide and the Frozen Trail overview cover the rest of the update.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many new quests did Frozen Trail add to ARC Raiders? Embark's 2.0 notes say 22 new quests were added. The community wiki lists 15 of them in its Frozen Trail tab as of October 14, and Boarding The Frigate names one more follow-up, Disrupting The Frigate, that has no page yet. The rest are not documented anywhere we could find.

How do you unlock the new Frozen Trail quests? Per the wiki, most of them open after Off The Radar, a Shani quest that follows Clearer Skies and Trash Into Treasure. It asks you to repair the antenna on the roof of a Field Depot in one round.

Which new quest gives the best reward? On paper, Sizing Things Up pays a Bettina I, an Exodus Technical Handbook, 3 Adrenaline Shots and 60 Heavy Ammo. For XP, Belly Of The Beast and Bait, Fetch, Blast pay the most at 10,000 each, and Bait, Fetch, Blast adds a Wolfpack.

Do quests give XP in ARC Raiders now? Yes. Since Frozen Trail 2.0, completing quests and quest objectives grants XP, and the XP shows as a visible reward in the quest description and when you claim it.

Is the To The Skies quest bugged? Several players report that the Gondola Prototype stops prompting for the last part. One says it only works on the map where you started. Embark has not listed it as a known issue, so report it in game if you hit it.

Who is Cassio in ARC Raiders? Cassio is the new Nomadic Envoy who replaced Ermal in Frozen Trail. Embark says he still trades for valuables and also asks friendly Raiders for help with certain quests, such as Clean Hands.
