ARC Raiders Stash Size: Every Level, Cost and the 328 Cap
ARC Raiders stash size after Frozen Trail 2.0: 64 to 328 slots, upgrade costs for every level, Nomadic Envoys space and Expedition bonus slots explained.

About the game
ARC Raiders
The ARC Raiders stash size changed with Frozen Trail 2.0 on October 8, 2026, and the numbers online do not agree. Embark added two stash levels, so most older guides that say 280 are now out of date.
This page puts every source in one place: the level-by-level costs, what Embark confirmed, what players report, and the other two ways to add slots.
TL;DR: Your stash starts at 64 slots and grows by 24 per upgrade. Embark's notes say the new maximum is 328 slots, plus 12 per completed Expedition and the Nomadic Envoys' extra space. The price of the two new levels is player-reported, not official.
ARC Raiders stash size: how many slots? (quick answer)
The stash starts at 64 slots. The ARC Raiders Wiki says it can be upgraded "from the base 64 slots to a maximum of 280", with each upgrade adding 24 slots. Embark's 2.0 patch notes then added two more tiers: "The new maximum (without Expedition rewards or acquired Nomadic Envoy space) is 328 slots."

Two details matter. First, 280 plus two tiers is 328 only if each new tier is also 24 slots, which is our arithmetic and matches what players describe. Second, Embark's number is a floor for a maxed player, because Expedition and Envoy space stack on top of it. For where stash space fits in your wider spending, see our currency and progression guide.
ARC Raiders stash size upgrade levels and costs
Levels 1 to 10 come from the wiki, and a second guide that tracked the launch version lists the same slot counts and prices. Levels 11 and 12 are the 2.0 additions.
| Level | Stash slots | Upgrade cost (coins) | Total cost (coins) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 64 | none | none |
| 2 | 88 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| 3 | 112 | 10,000 | 15,000 |
| 4 | 136 | 15,000 | 30,000 |
| 5 | 160 | 25,000 | 55,000 |
| 6 | 184 | 40,000 | 95,000 |
| 7 | 208 | 60,000 | 155,000 |
| 8 | 232 | 90,000 | 245,000 |
| 9 | 256 | 130,000 | 375,000 |
| 10 | 280 | 200,000 | 575,000 |
| 11 (2.0) | 304 | 750,000 (player-reported) | 1,325,000 |
| 12 (2.0) | 328 | 1,500,000 (player-reported) | 2,825,000 |
The slot counts for levels 11 and 12 follow from the 24-slot step and Embark's 328 cap. The two prices come from a Reddit thread and a reply in another, not from Embark or the wiki, and the totals in the last two rows are our sums of those reported numbers. Check the price on the Expand button in game before you plan around them.
What 2.0 changed
Embark listed it in two places. The short changelog says "Max Stash Size increased by 2 new levels (328 Max without Expedition bonuses)". The full notes give the longer version quoted above.
The reason is in Embark's own earlier message about late-game players: "Your Stash is filling up with the game's new items and we haven't increased the capacity." That post also introduced a new trader from a nomadic tribe who offers extra stash space and the Expedition Vault in exchange for high-value items.
Three ways to add stash space

The stash grows from three separate sources, and the 328 figure only counts the first.
| Source | Slots | How you pay | Counted in 328? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Expand button in Speranza | 24 per level, 12 levels | Coins | Yes |
| Nomadic Envoys stash expansion | +12, two expansions | High-tier ARC parts (200,000 and 400,000 item value) | No |
| Completed Expeditions | +12 each, stacking | Finish an Expedition | No |
The Envoy prices and the reset rule come from the wiki's trader page, which still shows a pre-2.0 weekly rotation, so they may have moved. A player post from October 9 talks about a "400k 12 slot" purchase, which matches the wiki's second tier.
Step-by-step: how to upgrade your stash
This is what the guides and the wiki describe. We have not played the new tiers.
1. Go to Speranza and open your inventory: upgrades are bought on the Stash screen at the base.
2. Switch to the Stash tab and press Expand: a guide for the launch version says the button sits near the top of the stash grid and shows the coin cost before you confirm.
3. Pay in coins: the Speranza upgrades use Coins only. Keep a coin reserve before a big upgrade, since the last launch level was 200,000.
4. Visit the Nomadic Envoys for the extra 12 slots: trade in high-tier ARC parts. Do this after you are sure you will not depart on an Expedition, because the wiki says the Envoy upgrade resets on departure.
The Nomadic Envoys and extra stash space
Embark describes the Envoys as a trader group from a nomadic tribe of surface-dwellers, and the wiki says they welcome "only those who bring valuable goods to barter with." Per the 2.0 notes, the Envoys "have allowed Ermal to go back on the trail" and brought in Cassio, who trades for valuables and asks Raiders for help with some quests. Players are still calling the stash seller Ermal in threads from October 9, so look at the stall rather than the name.

One player thread complains about the cost of this route: "I have to sacrifice 40 slots worth of high tier cores that cannot be stacked to get 12 more slots." In the same thread, a reply lays out a plan: pay for the "24 slots for 750k", then farm Queen cores for the "400k 12 slot" Envoy tier, then "aim for the 1.5m for the last 24". That reply is also where we got the 24-slot figure for the new tiers. Treat all of it as player estimates.
Bronze Statuettes and the Expedition pause
The wiki says Expeditions are paused, and that the Envoys accept the Bronze Statuette "compensation gift as barter for all trades, except those involving specific items." The statuette is a Legendary Trinket for players who invested in the Expedition but did not depart. Our Expedition pause report covers the timeline.

What players are saying
GODEEPER: How Expeditions and the pause affect what you can carry over. ARC Raiders 5th Expedition: Last One Before 2027 Pause →
The reaction splits along how you spent your pre-update time. A thread titled "We get 2 more stash expansions (12 slots x2) but I hope you saved up 750k and 1.5 million respectively!" is where the reported prices come from, and the poster adds "Glad I farmed up cash!". The thread's own title says 12 slots, but the 328 cap only works with 24 per tier, so we use 24 and flag the mismatch.
The loudest complaint is about fairness. In a thread about using bronze statues for stash space, one player who did all five Expeditions wrote that others "get extra stash space basically for free". The poster who started it asks why skipping the Expedition "has proved more useful than doing the expedition". The same player who laid out the 750k plan above is relaxed about it: "Storage space is actually not that much of a problem anymore imo." These are single-thread opinions, not a survey.

Our take
This is a research page, not a hands-on review. I have not bought the new levels, so the prices above are player reports and the rest comes from Embark and the wiki.
328 slots is a real jump, but the 750,000 and 1,500,000 coin prices put the last 48 slots well out of reach for newer players. The Envoy route is the one most likely to compete for your best ARC parts, so I would not spend them there until you know you are skipping the next Expedition. If you are still filling the first 280 slots, our loot guide covers what is worth keeping, and the beginner guide covers the early game.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the max stash size in ARC Raiders? Embark's Frozen Trail 2.0 notes put it at 328 slots, not counting Expedition rewards or space bought from the Nomadic Envoys. Before 2.0 the cap was 280 slots at level 10.
How much does it cost to upgrade the ARC Raiders stash? The wiki lists levels 2 to 10 at 5,000 to 200,000 coins each, 575,000 coins in total. Players report the two new 2.0 levels cost 750,000 and 1,500,000 coins, but Embark has not published those prices.
How many slots does each stash upgrade give? The wiki says each upgrade adds 24 slots, from a base of 64. Embark added two levels and the new cap is 328, which works out to 24 more slots each.
How do you get extra stash space from the Nomadic Envoys? The wiki lists two stash expansions of 12 slots each, paid in high-tier ARC parts worth 200,000 and 400,000 in item value. The wiki says the bonus resets if you depart on an Expedition.
Do Expeditions still add stash slots? The wiki says each completed Expedition adds 12 slots, stacking across Expeditions. Embark's notes exclude them from the 328 figure, so they sit on top of it.
What is the Bronze Statuette used for in ARC Raiders? It is a Legendary Trinket given as compensation to players who invested in the Expedition but did not depart. The wiki says the Nomadic Envoys accept it as barter, and players report using it toward stash space.
